That same morning, in some little-used closet/laboratory/boiler room (a -hazardous- combination) beneath the University, a certain girl was drifting to sleep. She knew this (her present location, that is) meant that she would almost certainly be late to work, and that Bjorn would be neglected his morning walk, but she'd been reluctant to leave. She'd seen that boy again, following her. For all she knew, he was still

Morning found a poet asleep outside the University gates. At least, he was a poet then. The sense of melancholy and self-disappointment that crawled into his stomach upon waking lent themselves well to verse. Made him wish that he'd worn black. That he was poor. He had failed. Yet again.  This night's attempt made the third that he had spent staked out in the various darker corners of the pretentiously empty square that sanctified the University's entrance. He had chosen this tangle of violently thorned and murderously viridian bushes flanking said gate because he supposed he couldn't possibly fall asleep there. & Dead Girls Cheap Sex. 1.

Surviving summer in Atlanta:
1. Lose the clothes. Your modesty is not worth heat stroke.
2. Air conditioning is a beautiful thing. STAY. INSIDE.
3. In the event that you are forced to leave your cold dark
indoor sanctuary...wear shoes. Hot asphalt burns... >.>

(I mean, obviously. They're Marta cops...)
